Yes, much, MUCH more!
iBluegrass Magazine has been around since 1996 (under our former name bluegrassusa.com) but has stayed in the shadows. Always there but always small and static. No more.
We have grown from 10 pages to over a thousand pages in 2 years. We don't see the growth slowing. As a matter of fact, the iBluegrass is growing faster and faster as time goes by.
iBluegrass Magazine is not a site that is there to make money for the owners. It is a bluegrass site carefully crafted by bluegrass people for bluegrass people.
We have commercial interests and we solicit sponsorship. This is because it takes a lot of money to bring to you the information in this site in a dynamic, state-of-the-art method. We carefully screen our sponsors and they must be directly involved in bluegrass music.
iBluegrass Magazine is here to promote bluegrass music to those who appreciate it - and we mean YOU! When all is said and done, if it weren't for the bluegrass fans, there would be no bluegrass music.
You Can Help
You can help by submitting material. Anything that isn't copyright (unless you own the copyright). You don't have to be a professional writer! Jot down some notes and we'll write it if you'd like. We are seeking "Field Reporters" for the following:
- Bluegrass Festivals: Write about the festival you attended. Who you saw, the weather, how many people - whatever you want!
- Parking Lot Pickers: Who did you see? Who stopped by? Tell a funny story. Talk about anything that happened in "the parking lot" of a festival.
- ChildGrass: We want to know more about children who play or are eagerly (or not so) learning to play.
- LadyGrass: Women love bluegrass, too! Our special LadyGrass section is just for them.
Advertise in our FREE Bluegrass Classifieds. Send us some Bluegrass news. Let us know your favorite Bluegrass links.
At the very least, sign our guestbook, please!
Most Importantly, tell your friends... and keep coming back!
