Site Name: Damascus Road Acoustic Gospel Site Category: Band Date Added: 04/11/2000 Description: We're basically a bluegrass Gospel group, based in Western NC. We have guitar, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass, banjo & dobro. Our banjo player doubles on the dobro (not at the same time, though) so that's why we chose the title "acoustic gospel." We do duets, and ocassional quartets, sticking mostly with trios. We do the 2 microphone deal (2 mics on one stand) and present this configuration where ever we perform. We play in churches, street fests, BG fests, reunions, grand openings, etc. We've shared the stage with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, The Primitive Quartet, The Bluegrass Cardinals, The Sullivan Family, The Isaacs and many other wonderful groups. We currently travel in NC, SC, GA, TN, and VA. Our bookings for 2000 are almost gone, but we may be able to work in a few more.
