Clear Blue is a Dallas based bluegrass band that has quickly become one of the most exciting in the North Texas area. They blend traditional and contemporary bluegrass, western swing and Celtic music to create a sound all their own. Clear Blue is a marriage of exceptional talent. The band offers a perfect blending of unique arrangements, and unusual dynamics clearly demonstrating that they are a most innovative and creative bluegrass band. Clear Blue performs selections and arrangements geared to help expand the bluegrass audience especially among young listeners. Clear Blue was formed in 2000 by four veteran bluegrass musicians. Ridgetown, the bands first recording project, was released in July 2001. Since its release Ridgetown has received many good reviews and provides a glimpse of Clear Blues promise.
