Bluegrass gospel music has been a staple in the ministry of Gods word for many years. Recently a surge of interest in bluegrass as a whole has given renewed interest in bluegrass gospel as well. Mercy Tree has risen to the occasion taking the traditional sounds of bluegrass and providing their own original influence to create a truly creative sound to this musical genre. Growing up listening to virtually every form of gospel music has provided a wide range of styles and techniques for this young group to draw from. Mercy Tree has provided a unique approach to bluegrass gospel, always being careful to stay true to the most important element; the word of God. The group has had the privilege of traveling throughout Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee playing churches, special events and festivals sharing the songs of their first album project Mercy Tree . Now, they bring to you ten new original songs on their second project named for their first national release, "My God Is Real". Their prayer is that God's messege of love ring through in the songs they sing and to realize that GOD IS REAL!
