Often referred to as a Bluegrass
"Supergroup", the band has former
members of the Neon Valley Boys (Jeff and Karl), former members of Northern Lights (Mike and Jeff), a member of the cajun band, Magnolia (Martin), and the hottest young mandolin player in Rhode Island
(Ben).
Playing a wide mix of music, the Pegheads concentrate on a sound that combines traditional bluegrass with old-timey and
blues styles that is refreshing and uncommon.
