This is the general performing area of this band.
They may perform in other areas as well.
Southern Tradition performs traditional bluegrass and old time music in NC, SC, VA, and TN areas, and has appeared at such locations as: The Carter Fold, Hiltons, VA; The TN.Homecoming, Norris, TN; Blue Ridge Music Center,Galax, VA; Myrtle Beach, SC; U.N.C.Charlotte; Davidson College; Queens College; numerous gigs at Bass Pro Shops (Concord Mills); Bost Grist Mill; and many churches, retirement homes and private functions. The band was formed in 1998, but all members have extensive experience over many years (two since the 1940's), and Claude Lucas is recognized as a World Champion,old time fiddler.
