Band"stands on tradition. Traditional
style bluegrass with a fresh new sound that can only be accomplished by
seasoned musicians.
Southern
Reign is a four piece band consisting of Cindie
Weldon, guitar, lead and harmony vocals;
John
Purk, mandolin; Karla
Damm, bass, lead and harmony
vocals; and Jimmy Campbell,
banjo, lead and harmony vocals.

The strong leads
and smooth harmonies blend well with the solid, hard-driving, sound these
musicians produce.
Each of the four
band members have been playing bluegrass since childhood and each brings
their own ideas and expertise into the group. The band does a wide variety
of songs. However, all the music has a distinctively traditional sound
with a little "New Flavor"
sprinkled in.
